Storyline
Set in a vague but familiar future, everyday citizens of Earth can travel into space using mere public transport. The large, government-funded company that provides this service, 'Nebula Public Transport', wants to send out a public service announcement to its customers to encourage continued trust in the service.
The Brief
This brief asked for a thirty-second video formatted as a public service announcement, with at least half of the length of the film to include real camera footage. Because the public service announcement was allowed to be fictional, I decided to base it on a transport company that carries passengers into space. This gave me the creative freedom to design and create interesting visuals to support the concept that I had in my own head, and to experiment with style.
